Your Role as an SEMH Support:

* Provide tailored, one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
* Help pupils regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop positive coping strategies.
* Support learning across the curriculum, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
* Build trusting, supportive relationships to create a safe, consistent environment for learners.
* Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.

What You'll Need as an SEMH Support:

* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, behavioural needs, or additional learning needs.
* Strong communication and emotional resilience, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to supporting vulnerable learners.
* Ability to build rapport and manage challenging behaviours using positive strategies.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
