French and Spanish Teacher needed for Thriving School in Newcastle

They are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic French and Spanish Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position starting this September.
Position Summary
This is an exceptional opportunity for an educator passionate about modern foreign languages to inspire and motivate students in their linguistic journey. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing students' fluency, cultural understanding, and appreciation for the French and Spanish languages across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Cultivate a vibrant and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and active learning.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support individual growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to foster a cohesive and enriching learning experience.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge of language pedagogy and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in French, Spanish, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level.
