Based in the UK, with offices in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and London
Flexible home, office or hybrid working available. You’ll need to be within 30 miles of one of our offices.
What you getWork on large-scale Flutter apps used by global brands. Complex builds, not backlog churn.
Real ownership. You’re trusted to make decisions on architecture, tooling and delivery, without layers of approval.
A team that values strong engineering. Code reviews, testing, and maintainability are expected, not optional.
Time to focus. Work is structured to avoid constant interruptions and unnecessary meetings.
Variety in the work. Projects typically run end-to-end, then you move onto something new across sectors like fintech and healthtech.
What the role involvesOwn Flutter projects from early stages through to release.
Set the technical direction. Make decisions on architecture, patterns and trade-offs.
Define and implement testing across unit, widget, integration and E2E.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
Work closely with product, design and QA to deliver well-rounded solutions.
Contribute to how Flutter is done across the business, including standards and tooling.
Support and mentor other engineers where needed.
What you bring
Strong commercial experience with Flutter and Dart.
Comfort owning technical decisions on production apps.
Solid approach to testing and code quality.
Experience with CI/CD and mobile delivery pipelines.
Ability to solve complex problems pragmatically.
Good understanding of performance, UX and security.
Experience working with APIs.
