The role involves responsibility for the smooth running of the school premises, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-presented environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will manage maintenance schedules, health & safety compliance, contractors, and site security, working closely with senior leaders and external providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site management, maintenance, and security of the school

• Opening and closing of the school site

• Oversight of health & safety procedures and compliance

• Liaising with contractors and managing site-related projects

• Monitoring premises, grounds, and facilities to high standards

• Supporting school events and lettings as required

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Site Manager, Caretaker, or Facilities role

• Strong working knowledge of health & safety regulations

• Practical maintenance and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
