Tesco Phone Shop Colleague pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25.Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
You will be responsible for
Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
Providing flexible support across the Phone Shop and wider store, including helping customers choose the right mobile products and services, completing phone and contract setups, and supporting customers with a range of tech queries.
Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
You will need
A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions.
The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and having had a great experience in the Phone Shop.
The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re solving a tech query, recommending a product, or supporting with a contract setup.
A positive, team‑focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.
