Job Description

We currently have a great opportunity for a JavaScript Developer to join us at our award winning office in Newcastle city centre, a few minutes’ walk from Central Station. The role holder will work as part of a large agile Software Development team incorporating Infrastructure Engineers, Software Developers, Product Managers, Software Testers and UX Designers to deliver world leading products to our customers. We are all about development so you will feel right at home if you have a passion for software development and look to develop yourself continuously.

Qualifications

Experience collaborating in an Agile and/or Scrum team

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, and Node.js

Familiarity with RxJS, Redis, GraphQL, Postgres and Amazon Web Services (AWS) i.e. Lambda, EC2, would be advantageous

Experience working with CI/ CD pipelines would be beneficial

Experience with, or a keen interest in automated testing/ Test Driven Development (TDD) would be beneficial

Some experience of working with .NET would be beneficial but is not essential
