Salary: £30 - £50 per hour
Shift Patterns: Short-term and long-term. Part-time & Full time, flexible working.

At TeacherActive, we’re on the hunt for compassionate, reliable tutors to work with our special educational need schools across Newcastle and Northumberland. You’ll be working closely with young people who need a safe, stable environment — including those with additional learning needs (ALN) and challenging behaviours.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced tutor to join our team, focusing on Looked After Children students. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.

️ What You’ll Need:

✅ A calm, patient approach with a sense of humour
✅ Willingness to learn and adapt in the face of challenges
✅ Experience working with SEN and SEMH pupils
✅ Team spirit, emotional resilience, and great communication

✅ Experience providing one-to-one and group tutoring sessions across Maths, English & Science.
✅ Tailor lessons to meet individual students needs and learning styles.
