NTP Educator
SEN / SEND Tutor for Young People with Additional Educational Needs

About the Role
We are on a mission to enhance the quality of education for young individuals facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD). We are seeking passionate SEN/SEND tutors who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
As part of our team, you will provide 1:1 tutoring in core subjects like Maths, English, or Science, using a creative and trauma-informed approach to foster engagement and improve educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, and other educational needs.
- Support students in their educational and social-emotional journeys through flexible, holistic tutoring.
- Plan engaging sessions that meet individual needs and track progress through lesson reports and feedback.
Requirements
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS).
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
- Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this).
- Two professional references.
- Must be based in the UK with the right to work, including for remote assignments.
Note: It is essential to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Status
- This role involves short-term engagements as a Worker, contracted for service.
- Payment will be processed via PAYE.
- No guaranteed work or expense coverage is provided.
- Our insurance covers the work performed for us.
- This is not a self-employed position.
