What you will do:

* Receive and screen safeguarding referrals from professionals and the public.

* Undertake initial risk assessments and threshold decision-making.

* Gather and analyse information from partner agencies within the MASH.

* Identify safeguarding concerns and determine appropriate next steps.

* Progress cases to Assessment, Child Protection, or Early Help teams.

* Participate in strategy discussions and multi-agency meetings.

Person Specification:

* Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.

* Registered with Social Work England.

* Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK.

* Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills.

* Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.

* Good understanding of MASH processes, thresholds, and referral pathways.

* Experience in Children's Social Care, particularly within MASH, Intake, Duty, or Assessment teams.
