Early Years Teaching Assistant

First Class Supply are currently recruiting Early Years Teaching Assistants in and around the Newcastle area.

The work ranges from daily to ongoing assignments from as little as 4 hours per week up to 39 hours per week. This means we are able to provide you with a position that suits your lifestyle.

Duties will include providing play and learning opportunities for all children and to maintain a safe and stimulating fun environment as well as assisting senior centre staff with general nursery duties.

Skills required for these roles are:

• Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 in a relevant child care qualification
• 6 months recent experience (this can be either paid employment, voluntary or placement experience)
• Ability to work with babies to age 5
• Understanding of child development
• Knowledge of EYFS Framework

Please note that the pay rate will depend of the level of experience and qualification achieved by the post holder.
