About the Opportunity
Our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Newcastle, is seeking an accomplished English Teacher to join their thriving department in September. This full-time, permanent position presents a unique chance to inspire and educate students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative English curriculum within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness of the English department.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum developments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary level (KS3, KS4, and/or KS5).
