The Role and Team
As a client-facing Solutions Consultant with established legal tech, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, you will take the lead on client solutions projects. The role sits in the Client Solutions team – reporting to the Director of Legal Technology Consulting and based in Newcastle, you will work closely with people in other offices across the NRF network. You will play a pivotal role in understanding our clients’ needs, designing customized solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Able to translate client requirements into functional design documentation.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to design and implement technical solutions, including leveraging latest Gen AI tools.
- Manage client feedback efficiently, liaising with relevant teams and maintaining excellent client communication.
Project Management:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality and budget alignment.
- Coordinate with the LTC team and other teams as required to deliver the best outcome
- Manage timelines and reporting throughout development, testing, and deployment stages
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address any issues.
Lawyer Engagement:
- Inspiring lawyers to adopt tech-enabled solutions to streamline the delivery of legal work
- Collaborate with NRF lawyers and our clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct discovery workshops to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Facilitate meetings and lead discussions to align solutions with client needs.
- Provide regular status reports to client and internal stakeholders.
- Drafting proposals and presenting solution demonstrations to potential clients
Continuous Improvement:
- Facilitate lessons learnt workshops and sprint reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend new ways of working.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices by attending training courses and conferences.
- Maintain market and technical knowledge by pursuing certifications and researching latest trends.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience working with Legal Tech, Legal AI tools and Microsoft Power Platform will be particularly helpful.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, project management, and solution delivery, ideally in a professional services organisation
- Ability to analyse complex business problems and design innovative technology-based solutions.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated, and eager to achieve success.
- Stakeholder relationship management experience, with the ability to foster trust and build mutually beneficial relationship with all stakeholders.
- Must be an excellent communicator, be decisive, gain trust, understand and articulate the vision and priorities.
- Comfortable with juggling and prioritising needs from various teams, including the client in order to gain maximum value.
- Project planning, reporting, budgeting utilising the most appropriate project methodology.
