Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking caring, dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a number of SEN schools in Newcastle. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of SEN, helping them build confidence, develop key skills, and thrive both academically and socially.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with SEN in class and in small group interventions
Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils with communication, social, and independence skills
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionalsAbout You We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children, ideally within SEN
Is patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Is proactive, reliable, and adaptable
Understands the importance of safeguarding and inclusionA relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential for candidates with strong experience.
