Process Assistant - Cards, Benefits & Expenses
JOB DESCRIPTION
Looking for a role where accuracy, organisation and great customer service really matter? Do you enjoy working with data, juggling priorities and supporting colleagues across a busy operational team?
You’ll be joining the Cards, Benefits & Expenses team within Transformative Business Services, supporting service delivery for our client MPS. This is a fast‑paced administrative role where attention to detail is essential, and where you’ll play a key part in making sure payroll‑related benefits, expenses and schemes are processed accurately, on time and in line with policy and legislation.
This is a permanent, full‑time role, based from our Newcastle office, with an expectation of working on site two days per week.
What you’ll be doing:
- Processing and administering Cards, Benefits & Expenses activity in line with agreed service levels and timescales.
- Managing and prioritising your own workload across an allocated area of the team.
- Calculating, checking and processing salary sacrifice schemes and allowances accurately.
- Auditing expense claims to ensure compliance with MPS policy and legislative requirements.
- Responding to queries from employees and managers via RFS and email, providing a positive and professional customer experience.
- Supporting
ad‑hoc activity, including issuing letters and assisting with project work
involving high‑volume data analysis.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience of processing payroll‑related information and working with payroll or HR systems in a high‑volume environment would be beneficial.
- High attention to detail, with confidence working with large volumes of data.
- Good Excel skills, including use of formulas, alongside strong overall computer literacy.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High levels of numeracy and written communication skills, including drafting clear and accurate correspondence.

Salary: £25,375 per annum.
