Quality Assurance Technician (Manufacturing)
Location: Newcastle
Shift Pattern: Rotating 3-shift system (Monday-Friday)
- 06:00 - 14:00
- 14:00 - 22:00
- 22:00 - 06:00

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their established team at their Newcastle site, supporting high-speed manufacturing operations on a rotating shift basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification
- Take appropriate and timely actions to ensure the delivery of high-quality finished products to customers
- Identify and analyse high-risk activities, trends, and events within the production process
- Work proactively with manufacturing teams, using data-driven insights and personal initiative
- Act as a central point of contact for customer-related and plant quality issues
- Support quality standards across multiple work areas, working flexibly where safety and competence allow
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment
- Background in high-speed production environments
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards , SPC (Statistical Process Control) , HACCP , and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Confident using data, systems, spreadsheets, and databases to support quality decisions
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline

- Self-motivated, methodical, and systematic in approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support change
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and an ability to support continuous improvement initiatives
