Salary: £140 - £150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision in Newcastle, supporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs. The setting promotes a structured and supportive environment, focused on building resilience, emotional regulation, and positive relationships to help students succeed.

The school is looking to take on a full-time, long-term SEND Teacher starting ASAP. The successful SEND Teacher will be working with students who present with SEMH and behavioural challenges, delivering tailored lessons and maintaining strong classroom management to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience working as a SEND Teacher or supporting students with SEMH
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Experience delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
• A resilient and patient approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and commitment to supporting vulnerable learners
