Associate Director PM
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 basic salary (depending on level of experience)
Seeking an Associate Project Manager/ Associate Director (depending on experience) iin managing projects in construction/ built environment.
Note: IT/Finance/Marketing backgrounds will not be considered for this role. It is essential you have experience within construction. (Experience in managing JCT or NEC contracts is essential). Working in a collaborative team environment you’ll play a key role in day to day project delivery—managing operational tasks, coordinating teams, maintaining documentation and ensuring high standards throughout the project lifecycle. This role suits someone ambitious, client focused and eager to grow into a future leadership position.
Current Key Project Areas & Focus for the Newcastle office:
• Mixed Use & Residential: Large scale developments such as a 500+ bed high-rise city centre scheme.
• Commercial & Retail: Major £16m city centre development.
• PBSA: Supporting significant schemes student accommodation redevelopment in the city centre. Key Responsibilities
• Reporting and contract administration
• Liaison with design teams and contractors, carrying out site inspections
• Assist with fee proposals and procurement documentation.
• Maintaining project records (risk registers, programmes, execution plans).
• Build strong relationships with clients and professional teams.
• Work closely with cost management colleagues to support commercial objectives.
• Contribute to project planning, governance, risk management and delivery.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the wider business with business development initiatives. Skills & Experience
• Degree qualified; MRICS desirable but training support available.
• Experience in a client facing project management manging construction projects.
• Collaborative working style with excellent communication skills.
