About the Role

Britsafe is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operatives to join our team at Newcastle Airport . You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in offices, washrooms, and various airport areas, including airside locations .

Shift Options

Saturday and Sunday
🕔 1700 - 2000

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitise office spaces, washrooms, and public/common areas

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and airport regulations

• Perform duties both landside and airside

• Follow cleaning schedules and supervisor instructions

• Handle cleaning equipment and materials safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• A current DBS check – If you don’t have one, we will apply on your behalf at no cost to you

• Ability to provide a full 5-year work history (HMRC documentation preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred, but not essential

• Eligibility to work in the UK and pass full airport vetting procedures
