Production Manager
- Annual Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
- Location: Newcastle
- Job Type: Full-time
- Oversee the production of a diverse range of ice cream products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.
- Lead, train, and motivate a small production team to achieve excellent results.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, with a good understanding of HACCP.
- Manage stock levels, ingredient ordering, and production scheduling efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain production equipment, addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with management to support new product development and manage seasonal product ranges.
- Proven experience in ice cream or gelato production.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, capable of leading a small team.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in all aspects of production.
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work closely with both production staff and management.
