Salary: £90 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Newcastle .

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will support teachers in delivering lessons, work closely with students to enhance their learning, and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional help
* Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
* Encourage student participation and engagement during lessons
* Support classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
* Help students with their academic tasks and learning activities
* Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student progress
* Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements of a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

* A Bachelor's degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, or related fields preferred)
* A strong interest in pursuing a career in education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
