On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Newcastle, we are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their dedicated faculty. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exciting opportunity to nurture young minds and inspire a lifelong love of mathematics.

The Position

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a pivotal role in fostering students' mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and appreciation for the beauty and relevance of mathematics in the modern world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver innovative lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational objectives.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and support.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and inquiry.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Mathematics department to enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
• A strong foundation in mathematical concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance mathematical instruction.
