About the Role
The Exams Officer will oversee the planning, organisation, and administration of all school examinations, ensuring compliance with examination board regulations and smooth operation of assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
Organise and manage all internal and external examinations.
Liaise with examination boards and ensure compliance with exam regulations.
Prepare timetables, exam papers, and seating plans.
Maintain accurate records of candidates, entries, and results.
Coordinate invigilators and support staff for exam sessions.
Provide guidance and support to students and staff regarding examination procedures.
Ensure secure storage and handling of examination materials.
Monitor and report on exam outcomes and maintain statutory records.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in exams administration or educational administration is desirable.
Strong organisational, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with staff, students, and external organisations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
