Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their machining department by recruiting an experienced CNC Miller with strong 5-axis machining experience.

Job Description:

The successful CNC Miller will be responsible for setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls to manufacture high-precision components to tight tolerances.

As a CNC Miller , you will work from engineering drawings to set tooling, load programs, and ensure the machining process runs efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards. The role will involve adjusting offsets, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring finished parts meet the required specifications.

The CNC Miller will also carry out first-off inspections, make minor program edits where required, and support continuous improvement in machining processes. Maintaining a clean and organised workspace and adhering to health and safety procedures will also form an important part of the role.

This position would suit a motivated CNC Miller with strong experience in 5-axis machining who enjoys working in a precision engineering environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience working as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment
• Experience setting and operating CNC 5-axis milling machines
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience machining to tight tolerances and high quality standards
• Ability to carry out basic program edits and adjust tooling offsets
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
