Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and comprehensive history instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum objectives.
• Assessing student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their historical understanding.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the school's history curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Staying abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in history education.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching history at the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of historical periods, events, and their significance.
• Proficiency in utilizing various teaching resources and technologies to enhance student learning.
