An Outstanding secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join its successful department with an ASAP start on a long-term ongoing basis.

About the Role
The successful candidate will teach English across KS3 & KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that help students develop strong literacy, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
The role will include:
Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging and academically challenging lessons
Preparing students for GCSE examinations
Encouraging students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and analysis
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
This is a long-term ongoing role, providing stability within a supportive department.

Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
