Join our Skills team as a MIS ILR Officer

The MIS ILR Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and strategic value of learner data across North East Combined Authority-funded Adult Skills Programmes. In this position, you will help maintain the integrity of Individualised Learner Record (ILR) submissions by supporting the collection, validation, and assurance of provider data. Your work will directly contribute to accurate performance monitoring and informed decision-making, helping the organisation understand learner participation, outcomes, and trends that shape the future of skills provision in the region.

Working closely with the MIS ILR Manager, you will run validation checks, support monthly data reconciliations, and offer first-line guidance to providers navigating ILR requirements. Your ability to spot inconsistencies, analyse patterns, and maintain precise records will strengthen compliance and ensure timely reporting. At the same time, your collaboration with the Curriculum and Quality Manager will help transform raw data into meaningful insights, supporting curriculum reviews, quality improvement activity, and the continuous development of adult learning opportunities.

You will also contribute to the evolution of MIS processes by suggesting refinements, supporting the introduction of new tools or automation, and helping providers understand the essential link between data accuracy and high-quality curriculum planning. Through your attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and commitment to data excellence, you will help ensure that the North East CA continues to deliver impactful, well-informed skills programmes that meet the needs of learners, communities, and the wider regional economy.
