About us
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage , and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are seeking a caring, confident, and reliable individual to support an 18-year-old young man with a vibrant personality and a strong love of music, particularly artists such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Little Mix. Music and sensory lighting play an important role in his daily routine, helping to create a calm and engaging environment.
At home, he enjoys familiar programmes including Numberjacks, Teletubbies, LazyTown, Bluey, and The Little Mermaid. He thrives on positive interaction and benefits from carers who are engaging, attentive, and enjoy spending quality time communicating with him.
This role involves providing personal care and clinical support to assist with his daily routines before and after school during term time. Morning shifts start at the family home, supporting personal care and preparation for the day before accompanying him on the school bus (no support required during school hours). Afternoon shifts involve meeting him from the school bus at home and continuing support either at home or in the community.
During school holidays, you will support him to enjoy a variety of community-based activities and outings tailored to his interests.
This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is patient, positive, and enthusiastic about building meaningful connections and making a genuine difference in a young person’s daily life.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
