Search Consultancy is looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Telehandler Operator for a high-profile project in Newcastle. This is a long-term opportunity to join a major site where your skills and reliability will be highly valued. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in their machine and understands the importance of keeping a site running smoothly and safely.

Working on a fast-paced site in the Newcastle area, you will be responsible for:

* Site Logistics: Managing the movement of all materials, ensuring they reach the correct trades on time to prevent project delays .
* Loading & Unloading: Safely handling all vehicle deliveries and organising site storage areas for maximum efficiency.
* Precision Operation: Executing lifts in challenging environments, often working at height or in restricted spaces.
* Machine Maintenance: Conducting daily plant inspections and reporting any defects to ensure the machinery remains in top working condition.
* Safety Leadership: Adhering to all site-specific safety protocols and maintaining a high level of situational awareness to protect colleagues and the public.

* CPCS or NPORS Card: A valid card with the CSCS logo is a mandatory requirement for this role.
* Safety Critical Medical: You must possess an in-date Safety Critical Medical certificate to be eligible for this site.
* Experience: Proven track record operating telehandlers on commercial or residential construction sites.
* Reliability: A commitment to stay for the duration of the long-term contract and maintain high attendance standards.
* Technical Skill: Confident in all aspects of machine operation, from basic material movement to complex lifting maneuvers.

* Competitive CIS Rate: A strong rate of £21.00 per hour with consistent, long-term hours.
