About the role
We are seeking an Individual Development Coach to support the holistic development of our High Potential Academy players, working closely with the Academy Manager, U21 Head Coach and Age Group Lead Coaches.
What you'll do
* Support the Academy Manager and U21 Head Coach in the development of NUW Academy players and support Age Group Lead Coaches
* Design and deliver a best‑practice programme for High Potential Academy Players
* Manage and oversee the implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
* Support planning and delivery of technical practices within training sessions
* Work with the Analysis Department to create and maintain individual player video libraries and performance data
* Lead communication with first team staff to support player transition
* Operate within the Academy Coach Competency Framework (CCF)
* Support U21 training and matchday programmes and attend all sessions and fixtures
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, welfare and equality policies
* Engage in continuous professional development
Experience and Qualifications
* UEFA A Licence
* FA Youth Award
* FA Safeguarding Certificate
* FA Basic First Aid for Sport
The team
You will work closely with the NUW Academy Manager and wider Academy leadership team, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing coaching and development function.
