They are seeking a dedicated and experienced French and Spanish Teacher to join their team in a full-time, permanent capacity starting in September.

Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire and empower students in their language learning journey. The role entails:

• Designing and delivering engaging French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum and promoting language proficiency, cultural understanding, and critical thinking skills.
• Creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, fosters positive communication, and celebrates the diversity of the French and Spanish cultures.
• Implementing a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress, provide tailored feedback, and identify areas for individual growth.
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department and the wider school community to develop and implement comprehensive language programs.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest pedagogical approaches and advancements in language education.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in French, Spanish, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.
• Native or near-native fluency in both French and Spanish, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for language education and a commitment to fostering a love of language and culture in students.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
