Electrical Site Services Supervisor
Zenith are proud to be partnering with a leading North East manufacturer and supplier as they seek an experienced Electrical Site Services & Facilities Maintenance Engineer to support their nationwide customer base. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong electrical skills and Project experience. Based at the North East Site with regular UK-wide travel, you will play a key role in ensuring customer facilities and equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. You will support refurbishment projects, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of both the company’s equipment and wider site services. Key Responsibilities
- Conducts site-based maintenance, repair, and installation of building fabric systems including electrical infrastructure, and general facilities equipment.
- Performs diagnostics, fault-finding, and corrective repairs to Control Systems ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Supports refurbishment and upgrade projects across customer sites, including equipment overhaul, system testing, and commissioning.
- Provides technical support to customers, project teams, warranty investigations, and quality control functions.
- Works directly or through site supervisors, engineers, and approved subcontractors to deliver planned and reactive maintenance.
- Carries out modifications, repairs, and system improvements at customer facilities across the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Produces clear technical instructions and guidance for site teams and subcontractors relating to installation, operation, and maintenance activities.
- Maintains accurate service records, site reports, and documentation for all work undertaken.
- Conducts site surveys, prepares RAMS, and contributes to pricing and quotation development.
- Acts as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth coordination of work and high service standards.
- Provides on-site training and support to supervisors, clients, and end users.
- Supports the engineering team with R&D and product development when required.
- Understands and adheres to company policies on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Environmental Standards, and travel/subsistence requirements.
- Willingness to work occasional weekend overtime as required.
- Strong IT skills, confident using Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety within site services and facilities environments.
- Supervisory or team-leading experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
