Corporate Accountant - 15 month FTC Maternity Cover
• Manage accounting for EUK Ltd and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with ENGIE policies and IFRS
• Maintain accurate SAP ledgers up to trial balance, including foreign currency, tax, and deferred tax entries.
• Complete monthly reporting and analysis of intra group movements.
• Prepare high quality management accounts to support statutory reporting and audits.
• Work closely with Group Treasury on bank reconciliations, postings, and cash flow forecasting.
• Support tax return submissions and ensure accurate tracking of realised vs. unrealised profits.
• Assess impairment considerations and support group restructuring activities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support continuous process and SAP system improvements.
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects within the finance function. What you will bring to the role
• Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA.
• Experience in managing key business and client relationships;
• Good technical knowledge and accounting skills, in IFRSs and UK law;
• Ability to develop and apply internal control frameworks;
• Excellent planning and administration skills;
• Well-developed influencing and communication skills;
• Project/programme management skills; and
• Experience in challenging the status quo and fostering an innovative mindset within teams.
Systems Experience Requirements
• SAP ERP;
• Banking and BACS payments systems; and
• MS Excel. Job Based In
