About Our Client

ADM Pressings have been providing metal pressings and manufacturing solutions for the engineering and automotive industries for over 70 years,

In 2015 ADM was acquired by the GCH Corporation who are private family group seeking to grow and develop UK industrial and manufacturing businesses over the long term.

ADM have a dedicated team of circa 250 skilled professionals and a purpose-built factory in Newcastle.

ADM offer a range of metal pressings and manufacturing solutions to a number of key automotive and off-highway OEMs and Tier 1 companies across the UK and beyond.

Job Description

• Be an active member if the Senior Leadership Team reporting into the ADM Managing Director.
• Identify and deliver new business opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and support the ADM sales / account management team.
• Work with internal teams to support current and future new business generation demands.
• Lead customer price negotiations and tenders.
• Ensure that all new work fits with the strategic goals and capabilities of the business and is of the right complexity and margin levels.
• Work closely with Engineering and Operational teams across the business to ensure accurate business project development success.
• Manage and use internal CRM and sales/estimation systems.
• Drive the sales strategy and strategic customer development for ADM.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Director should have:

• A strong background in the industrial/manufacturing sector with proven leadership experience.
• Expertise in developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth.
• Excellent skills in negotiation, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to analyse market trends and identify business opportunities.
• Experience in managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to align commercial objectives with company goals.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
