Part Time Cleaner

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a P art Time Cle aner, working at a school in Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 area.

The School Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The role involves daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other facilities to ensure that the school remains a welcoming and hygienic space.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, work well as part of a team, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Hours: On average 22.5 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 05:30am - 7:30am and 15:00pm - 17:30pm.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour.

Please note, due to the setting of the site an Enhanced DBS with child barring will be carried out on the successful applicant.

Responsibilities:

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:

* The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract.
* Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.
* Clean classrooms, staff rooms, offices, hallways, and communal areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
* Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
* Clean desks, chairs, and other furniture.
* Wash and disinfect sinks, toilets, and other restroom facilities.
* Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
* Clean windows, doors, and walls as required.
* Respond to emergency cleaning tasks when needed, such as spills or accidents.
* Support the wider school team in maintaining the cleanliness of the outdoor areas, such as playgrounds or school grounds, if required.
