Our Client is looking for a Music ECT to work within a mixed secondary school in Newcastle. The successful Music ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and contribute to the school’s vibrant arts programme.
School Information:
This is a large mixed school with around 1,300 pupils and excellent academic standards, achieving 94% 9–4 in English and Maths. The Music department has a dedicated suite, practice rooms and strong extracurricular engagement through school productions and choirs.
The school provides structured ECT mentoring and CPD focused on creative teaching. Staff describe it as collaborative and inclusive, where new teachers are encouraged to share fresh ideas and develop their craft.
Experience and Qualifications
• Music ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Legal right to work in the UK
Salary
Paid to scale on MPS
