Learner Support Funds Administrator - Maternity Cover until June 2027.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Learner Support Funds Team within Professional Services as a Learner Support Funds Administrator, as maternity cover.

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment and administration of bursary support for learners across Newcastle College, West Lancashire College and Carlisle College.

The role plays a vital part in removing financial barriers to participation, helping learners access the support they need to achieve and progress.

The work is varied, fast‑paced and rewarding. Financial support can be essential for many learners, and the post‑holder must navigate periods of high demand while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. A methodical approach to work is essential, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, excellent attention to detail, robust IT skills and an understanding of student support within an educational environment.
