About the Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential support to the school office, assisting staff, students, and parents with administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to teaching and non-teaching staff

  • Managing correspondence, emails, and telephone enquiries

  • Supporting the organisation of school events, meetings, and appointments

  • Liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies as required

  • Assisting with reception duties and ensuring a welcoming environment

  • Performing general office duties, including photocopying, scanning, and document preparation

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in administration, ideally in a school or educational setting

  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and school MIS systems

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Understand the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in a school setting
