National Account Manager
National Account Manager - North Territory
Smart Care Technology
£55,000-£60,000 basic + £21,000 commission | £5,000 Car Allowance
A rapidly growing provider of smart welfare technology is expanding its UK commercial team and is looking to appoint two National Account Managers. Their solutions help improve resident safety in care environments, and they partner with some of the largest care groups across the UK.
The Company
This business is an innovative leader in smart‑care technology, supplying advanced safety sensors and digital monitoring tools that support better care outcomes across large, multi‑site operators. With a strong reputation across Europe and an increasing footprint in the UK, they operate in a fast‑emerging market with very few direct competitors. The organisation benefits from significant investment, a highly effective marketing engine that generates strong inbound demand, and a clear commercial strategy focused on scaling their presence across national care groups. This is a company positioned at the forefront of a rapidly expanding sector, with substantial growth planned throughout 2026 and beyond.
The Opportunity
This role centres on winning and developing relationships with major national care groups, many of which operate hundreds of sites across the UK. You will be responsible for selling complex, high‑value technology solutions that improve safety and operational visibility, engaging with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, governance, quality and IT. The sales cycle is long and strategic-typically 12 to 18 months-and requires an ability to nurture relationships, run structured demonstrations, coordinate multi‑site trials and support group‑level decision making. With strong inbound interest and a large pool of identified target accounts, you will be stepping into a role where both opportunity and market receptiveness are extremely high. Year one expectations include building a healthy pipeline, converting key trials, and driving toward a first‑year revenue target aligned to substantial multi‑site rollout opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Selling a unique, safety monitoring and software system to the care sector
- Identifying, engaging and winning large multi‑site care organisations
- Mapping key decision makers and building long-term strategic relationships
- Running a complete enterprise sales process:
- Initial outreach (LinkedIn, events, email)
- Virtual discovery and product demos
- Group‑level presentations
- Expanding successful pilots across full group estates
- Leveraging strong inbound demand from marketing
- Managing relationships with the accounts you win
What They're Looking For
Experience Requirements:
- Strong B2B sales track record, with experience selling to the care sector desirable
- Face to face sales experience and willingness to travel across the UK
- Ability to map, penetrate and onboard complex organisations
- Comfortable running long‑cycle, high‑value deals
- Memorable, engaging, confident communicator
- Naturally builds rapport and earns trust
- Ambitious, driven and commercially sharp
Package
- £55,000-£60,000 basic salary
- £21,000 commission
- £5,000 car allowance
- Mobile, laptop, screens, phone, tablet, headset provided
- Fuel card/expenses
- Pension
- 25 days holiday + Christmas Eve + New Year's Eve
