About the Role
As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Science across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level.
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to students of varying abilities.
Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting learning targets.
Contributing to curriculum planning, resource development, and departmental initiatives.
Leading or supporting enrichment activities such as clubs, competitions, and research projects.
Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Collaborating with colleagues across the department and school to share best practices.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
PGCE or QTS qualification.
Experience teaching Science at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
Enthusiasm for promoting practical science, curiosity, and student engagement.
