Key Responsibilities for a Non-Medical Prescriber in Newcastle

Requirements for the Non-Medical Prescriber Job in Newcastle
Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or Allied Health Professional with an active NMC, GPhC, or HCPC registration.
Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.
Demonstrated experience in prescribing and managing medications safely and effectively.
Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines, NICE standards, and legal frameworks governing prescribing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and high standards of care.
Qualifications and Experience for the Non-Medical Prescriber
Experience in primary care, mental health, community health, or urgent care settings.
Knowledge of long-term conditions management, ADHD, pain management, or substance misuse.
Experience in leading patient consultations and managing complex cases.
A proactive and compassionate approach to healthcare delivery.
