Sen Teaching Assistant
Role: learning support assistants/ teaching assistants Location: Newcastle, Northumberland, South shields Start Date: Immediate start & Easter 2026 Salary: £100 - £130 per day Shift Patterns: Part-time & Full-time availability Are you calm, confident and able to maintain a positive atmosphere? At TeacherActive, we’re on the hunt for compassionate, reliable learning support assistants to work with our SEND schools across the North. You’ll be working closely with young people who need a safe, stable environment. Encouraging a positive and engaging learning environment while managing and behaviour challenges within the classroom. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced cover supervisor to join our team, focusing on SEND schools. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success. ️️ What You’ll Need:

- Experience managing challenging behaviour
- Team spirit, emotional resilience, and great communication
- Experience of working with SEND
