Registered Manager - Fostering North East

Hours: 35 hours per week Fostering North East is a well-established Independent Fostering Agency and part of the wider care services of North East charity, St Cuthbert’s Care. We’re proud of our strong reputation, committed staff team and dedicated foster carers and we’re now looking for the right person to help us continue to grow. This is an excellent development opportunity for an experienced fostering social worker looking to take the next step into Registered Management. If you're motivated, confident in your practice, and passionate about high-quality foster care, we’d be delighted to hear from you. We’re looking for someone who can bring:
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration
- Experience working within fostering services at a senior level, with strong knowledge of regulations, safeguarding and best practice
- The ability to lead, motivate and support a small, committed staff team
- A reflective, child-centred approach and confidence in decision-making
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (desirable) – or willingness to undertake this
