Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to work in our offices 2 days per week.

We’re looking for two Data Scientist's to join our Operational Excellence team within Tesco Insurance and Money Services.

It’s an exciting time for our business, and we’re looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our growing data team within the Claims department. This is your chance to bring your expertise, curiosity, and fresh ideas to a friendly, collaborative team—making a real impact for our customers, communities, and the planet.

What you’ll bring

• Creation, maintenance and the continuous improvement of our new predictive models within our claims department.

• You’ll need to apply data science techniques to model customer behaviours to drive better decision making, a better customer journey, improved business outcomes and cost controls.

• Adherence to our governance framework to keep our data safe.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience working with Microsoft Fabric (or Databricks) to create and maintain AI/ML models

• Experience working with large, complicated datasets.

• An ability to manage own workload and re-prioritise when required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills to share insights with technical and non-technical audiences.
