Our Client is looking for a Computer Science ECT to work within a large mixed school in Newcastle. The successful ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and receive consistent guidance through mentoring and CPD.
School Information
This 11–18 school serves around 1,100 pupils and has an impressive academic record, with 93% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Computer Science department is well equipped with new IT suites, coding resources, and robotics labs. Students regularly compete in regional technology challenges and participate in programming workshops with local universities.
The school offers an exceptional ECT programme, including dedicated mentoring, CPD, and a reduced timetable during the first term. Leadership is approachable and proactive in supporting new teachers with classroom strategies and career development.
