Our internships will give you first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology. Partner with the best You'll participate in focused training, and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset. - Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
- Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
- Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
- Assisting with the day-to-day manufacturing operations, which may include monitoring equipment, overseeing processes, and ensuring production goals are met.
- Participating in quality control and quality assurance processes, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring they meet industry standards and company specifications.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction in manufacturing operations.
- Collecting and analyzing data related to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Learning and applying principles of lean manufacturing to minimize waste, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity.
- Preparing reports, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Ability to persist through challenges and setbacks.
- Comfortable with iterative problem-solving and learning from failures.
- Takes initiative to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Doesn't wait for instructions for every step.
- Can adjust quickly to changing priorities or unexpected obstacles.
- Open to learning new tools, processes, and methods.
- Ensures accuracy in data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Spots inefficiencies or errors in processes.
- Can clearly explain ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable presenting findings and writing concise reports.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
- Works well with operators, engineers, and management.
- Builds trust and rapport across different levels.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement principles (Lean, Six Sigma basics).
- Comfortable using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and possibly data visualization software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and track progress.
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting standards.
- Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
- Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills
- Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction
