- There are 2 people living in the bungalow at Southfork, we are very different and have different needs, we are 30-60 in age.
- We will need support with physical assistance and support when we go out and about. We have different challenges in our lives which include health and learning disabilities. We have a staff team who are all trained in our specific needs and are familiar with us.
- We all enjoy different activities, including films, bowling, discos, music events, friendship clubs, seeing family, pub lunches.
- Other interests we have are watching horror films, the soaps, listening to music, visiting museums, baking and some of us like to go on day trips.
- We would not enjoy spending time with people who are bossy, in a hurry or very noisy as it would tend to make a few of us upset.
- There are always at least three staff on day shift and two on night shift.
- We like our staff to work 8am to 22pm and 8am to 8pm and 8.30 to 9.30pm, Nights 8pm to 8am and 10pm to 8am. We also have a waking night shift.
In order to support us to have the Best Life Possible our team have specialist training in Positive behaviour support, Total communication, autism and learning disabilities and PEJ trained
