Cover Supervisor in Secondary
Cover Supervisor Newcastle Upon Tyne Start Date: ASAP Salary: £100 - £130 per day Do you have strong behaviour management skills within a secondary school setting? Are you confident delivering pre-set work across KS3 classrooms? Are you a proactive Cover Supervisor with a strong classroom presence? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of secondary schools across Newcastle Upon Tyne, offering supportive and well-structured environments for both staff and students. These schools have a strong focus on maintaining positive behaviour and creating engaging learning spaces. We are looking to take on a Cover Supervisor to work on a flexible basis, including day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply starting ASAP. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across KS3, maintaining classroom control, and ensuring students remain on task throughout the lesson. The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Experience working in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
- Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and flexibility
