Science Teacher - Independent Secondary School - Newcastle
A highly regarded independent secondary school in Newcastle is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join its successful Science department from September . About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Supporting pupils in developing theoretical and practical scientific knowledge
Preparing pupils for GCSE Science examinations
Ensuring practical lessons are delivered safely and effectively
Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and projects
Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Be confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Be able to motivate pupils and inspire a love of Science
Work effectively as part of a collaborative department
Be committed to ongoing professional development
