Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Supporting pupils in developing theoretical and practical scientific knowledge

• Preparing pupils for GCSE Science examinations

• Ensuring practical lessons are delivered safely and effectively

• Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

• Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

• Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and projects

• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

• Be confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills

• Be able to motivate pupils and inspire a love of Science
