Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Field‑Based)
- Up to £45k plus 5% Shift Allowance
- Pension
Year 1 & 2 - minimum contribution is 3% and Arqiva contribute 6%
Year 3 - contribution is 4% and Arqiva contribute 8%.
Then If you elect to (or are already contributing) 5%, Arqiva will contribute 10% - Company vehicle

- To respond to faults in a timely manner and complete corrective maintenance on a range of systems to meet our Customer Service Level Agreements.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies and procedures.
- Support upgrades and modifications to existing systems and networks following agreed instructions.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken.
- Available to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team.
- To ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
- To ensure equipment is maintained to conform to agreed company standards.
- Engage with customers and build positive working relationships.
- To undertake contractor supervision duties as required, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
- To actively participate in 24/7 365 callout response as per the scheduled rota.
- Always working safely, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Arqiva Safety policy.
- Be willing to learn new transmission skills, with an option to train to climb to progress to climbing role.
- Role Includes lone working in remote locations.
- A valid driving license.
- Time served electrician. (NVQ 3 & AM2.)
- City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection and Test Or 2394 & 2395 Verification & inspection testing.
- Experience with fault finding and diagnosis.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and schematics.
- Working knowledge of BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
- Experience working on three phase equipment and systems.
