This Education Recruitment Consultant role in Newcastle offers the opportunity to take over a warm desk within an established teacher supply agency.

You will step into an active desk with existing client schools and a strong database of teachers and support staff already in place. The desk is generating revenue, so you will focus on maintaining relationships and developing the area rather than building from zero.

The office is well located with strong road and rail links, making it easy for candidates to attend registrations. There is also parking available, which helps when meeting teachers and support staff face to face.

The business is looking for a professional, relationship-led recruiter. This is not a high-pressure, KPI-driven environment. You will have the autonomy to run your desk properly while being supported by an experienced Branch Manager.

The agency operates to high standards within the sector, holding recognised industry accreditations and working in line with AWR and safeguarding requirements.

The Role – Education Recruitment Consultant Newcastle

• Manage and develop a warm desk across Primary, Secondary and SEND
• Maintain relationships with existing schools across the North East
• Source, interview and vet teachers and support staff
• Carry out school and PRU visits
• Deliver a full 360 recruitment service including business development where required
• Attend education events and industry seminars
